With over 25 years in the industry, Kalia Konstantinidou is more than a hotelier—she’s a cultural architect shaping Greece’s luxury hospitality landscape through intention, creativity, and care.

As Co-Founder and Group Executive Officer of Empiria Group, she leads a portfolio of award-winning boutique hotels across Santorini, Paros, Milos and the Peloponnese, including properties under The Luxury Collection and Design Hotels.

With a background in communications and project management, Kalia brings a sharp eye for detail and a passion for storytelling to every guest experience. She champions female leadership, sustainability, and the celebration of Greek heritage through design, service, and spirit.

Kalia acts as a chairwoman on Marriott’s Franchise Advisory Council, and as an advisory board member in the Cycladic Identity Initiative, the Anogeia Weaving House and Marketing Greece, where she is also a member of the Strategic Committee.  She is also a member of the Women in Leadership (WIL) Initiative of EHL, committed to advancing women in hospitality.  

She is a mother of three and finds her greatest inspiration in nature, culture, and connection.
